We chose our London Centre in Belgravia for convenience. It is just 5 minutes walk from Victoria Rail and Tube. Sloane Square Tube is also very close. We know many of our clients travel some distance to see us and may bring friends and family and for them there are shops, hotels, cafés and restaurants immediately nearby. For the convenience and well-being of our clients, we share our practice with the Light Centre, a calm, attractive, relaxing space. It is a private holistic centre offering complementary approaches such as Pilates, Tai Chi, Qigong and Naturopathy. These approaches may help with anxiety management when undergoing therapy for OCD. With advance notice we would be happy to help organise sessions as required. There is a comfortable seating area where friends and family are welcome to wait.
Road
There are parking meters just outside the Centre on Eccleston Street. The fees are ₤4.00 per hour and take ₤1 and 20p coins. There is a two hour maximum stay. The nearest NCP car park is further down Eccleston Street just past Victoria Station on the Junction between Eccleston Bridge and Bridge Place.Although the OCD and Light Centre are not within the Congestion Charging Zone, the boundaries are close by but can be avoided. If you do intend to travel through the Congestion Zone, charges are currently £8 per day.[map] For more information and to pay online http://www.cclondon.com/
Rail
Nearest railway station is Victoria, 5 minutes from the Centre. Euston, Kings Cross, St Pancras and Paddington are all accessible via the Underground or taxi. The Gatwick Express direct to Gatwick Airport goes from Victoria Station. For more information see http://www.tfl.gov.uk/rail/.Tube
The Underground or Tube is the speediest way to get around, particularly between the hours of 4pm and 7pm. Victoria is the nearest station and is in Zone 1. The lines which travel through Victoria are the Victoria Line and District and Circle Lines.Once out of the tube, follow exit signs for “Rail”, walk through the main railway concourse, pass WH Smith on your left and take the escalators on the far right next to the Gatwick Express up to the shopping centre, Victoria Place. Walk straight through, exit by “Books etc”, turn right into Eccleston Street. Cross the main road and the Centre is on the left.
If you plan to do more than two journeys in one day it is more cost effective to buy a travel card for the day. For more information and connections http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tube/Bus
Bussing around London is the slowest but cheapest option and also a chance to see some London sights. The 11, 211 239, C1 and C10 stop close to Victoria and the Centre. [map]Air
