About the OCDCentre

We are a dedicated self-help, online, telephone and in-person treatment centre for individuals with obsessive compulsive disorder. We are unique in that:

* our staff have personal experience of OCD
* we practice an innovative 5-Day Intensive Programme based upon genuine experience and results
* we offer online, telephone and in person treatment
* we offer treatment in people's homes
* we teach our clients to be their own therapists and not dependent upon therapy
* we  utilise technology to keep our costs to a minimum
* we are hands-on, if necessary, we work with clients outside the Centre in life situations our clients find difficult

We've been there.  We know the widespread impact of OCD. We know how difficult it is to get help for all involved.

Our philosophy

For us, it's all about the person with OCD. People with OCD are exceptional. They are talented and often brilliant. We help people with OCD to reclaim their lives.

Our philosophy is about awareness and hard-work. It is about our clients owning and managing their condition. It is about empathising with discomfort......about fighting the battles together ...........about celebrating achievement and inspiring others.

Our therapists will not coddle you or patronize you.  We will always give it to you straight. We want to empower you with the intelligence and skills to do the work yourself. We will help you find your personal key to freedom and show you how to keep it for a lifetime.

Our Team

All of our therapists are selected for their qualifications, experience and quite simply, how much they love their work. They know that OCD is a complicated, all-encompassing condition so they are prepared for hard work. They know that OCD can be bizarre and frightening but they will never be shocked or surprised. They don't consider themselves elite or experts but part of a team. They don't forget how bad life with OCD can get but always know how good it can be. They never put themselves in a position to judge people. Above all, our therapists are human beings
